Data controller
Loïc Martin, sole trader, publisher of Taskmura (legal notice). Contact: contact@taskmura.com
What is collected
- Your account: email address, username, password (hashed, never readable), language.
- What you enter: quests, subtasks, rituals, tags, and your island's progress.
- The link you arrived by, if it carries a source (for example
?src=reddit): the home page keeps a count per source and per day, with nothing about you; if you then create an account, that source is noted on it. - Error and bug reports: the message, the screen, the browser or device, your username, and what you write if you report a bug.
- Server logs, which may contain your IP address.
Why
Only to run the service (performance of a contract, GDPR art. 6.1.b): keeping your account, your lists and your island, sending address confirmation and password reset emails, and fixing errors. No advertising, no resale, no profiling.
The arrival source tells which places where Taskmura is presented bring users who stay (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6.1.f): it is only read as totals per source, never account by account.
How long
- Account and content: as long as the account exists. "My account" → "Delete my account" closes it at once; its data is erased three months later (time to reopen it on request), or right away if you ask in writing.
- Server backups: 14 days, then destroyed.
- Server logs: 2 months at most.
Who else sees it
- Scaleway (France): hosts the service and its data.
- Brevo (France): sends confirmation and password emails.
- Telegram: messaging app that notifies the publisher of a sign-up (username and email address), an app error or a reported bug (username and message).
Cookies
A session cookie (staying signed in, keeping your language and arrival source until you sign up), a security cookie against forged forms, and browser local storage that keeps your check-offs while offline. All are required for the service; no trackers, no third-party analytics, so no consent to ask for.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection: write to contact@taskmura.com; we reply within a month. You can also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
