Taskmura

ADHD and to-do lists: small steps, clear priorities, progress you can see

Taskmura is a to-do list where each finished task turns into something on screen: a house, a sawmill, a bigger village. Points and streak counters are easy to stop caring about; a place you built is harder to ignore. Here is what Taskmura does, and what it does not do.

The island: a medieval village on a hexagonal island, with its harvest bubbles.

Taskmura is a to-do list and a game. It is not a medical device, it does not treat anything, and it does not replace a doctor.

Progress you can look at

Checking a task crosses it out. At the castle, the elder pays it out in gold and XP, and the gold becomes a building on your island, placed where you choose. A week of small tasks is not a number: it is a street of houses you can scroll back to.

The village also gives a reason to come back that is not a chore: something to build, an upgrade you are saving stone for, villagers walking between the buildings you placed.

A list that shows what comes next

The next thing to do, on top. Sort by priority and the list shows what comes first. Pin what must stay in view. Put on hold what waits for someone else, so it stops taking up room.

Big tasks in small steps. A quest can hold sub-tasks: "clean the flat" becomes five lines you can tick one by one.

Logging after the fact counts. Did something that was not on the list? Create the quest and check it at once: it still pays.

Reminders in the phone app, on a due date, with or without a time.

The full loop, from a checked box to a new building: a gamified to-do list that builds a village.

Questions

Is Taskmura made for ADHD?

Not specifically: it is a to-do list and habit tracker for everyone. What may help with ADHD is what this page describes: a reward you can see, short steps, a list that shows what comes next. Taskmura makes no health claim.

Do I have to set priority and difficulty on every task?

No. Only the title is required. Difficulty sets how much a task pays, priority sets its place in the list; both have defaults.

How much time does the game take?

As much as you want. Building and upgrading take a few taps. The list and the rituals work on their own; the island only needs a visit to collect your pay.

Is it free?

Yes. No ads, nothing to buy.
