Taskmura

A gamified habit tracker where your habits build a village

In Taskmura, your habits are rituals. Each one you keep pays gold and XP, and the gold turns into buildings on a medieval island. Your morning run, your reading, your glass of water: a month of them is a street you can see.

Rituals: what's due today, what's left for the week, habits.

Three kinds of rituals

What your habits build

The first time you open your island each day, the elder settles yesterday's rituals and pays them out in gold and XP, like your quests. That gold builds and upgrades: a house for new villagers, fields, a forge to clear more land. Habits kept week after week are what turns a clearing into a village.

Breaking a bad habit works the other way. Each day you open the app without a relapse on a habit you want to avoid pays a small bonus that grows, up to a cap. A relapse you log costs a few hours of your buildings' production, never your gold.

Forgot to check yesterday?

The day turns at 3 a.m., not midnight. And the next morning, the elder asks what you did yesterday: what you tick there counts for the day you did it, and keeps your streak going.

Habits and tasks in one place

Rituals sit next to your quests, the one-off tasks with due dates, sub-tasks and priorities. Both pay into the same village. More on the task side: a gamified to-do list that builds a village.

Questions

Can I track a habit monthly?

Not yet: rituals are daily or weekly, and free habits have no rhythm at all.

Do habits pay as much as tasks?

Less, on purpose: a ritual kept weighs a fraction of a quest, so rituals do not take over the list. Difficulty sets how much each one pays.

Does it remind me?

Quests with a due date can ring in the phone app. Rituals have no reminder of their own yet.
